This year’s Great NEWS posts are dedicated to sharing Healthy Habits for a Great 2015 and today we focus on the healthy habit of Energizing Exercise.  Our body is the temple that transports our brain, heart, and soul.  To be happy, healthy, and in harmony in all areas of our wheel of life, we must maintain and train our body to ensure it stays aligned, balanced, energized, fit, flexible, lean, strong, and toned.  One of the most important healthy habits is a regular ritual and routine of having Energizing Exercise.

To enjoy a great 2015 we must develop a variety of energizing exercise habits and routines which will keep our body and brain functioning for peak performance.  Our brain depends on a healthy body for optimal blood, energy, fuel, nerve impulse, oxygen, transportation, and waste removal support system.  Therefore it is up to us to provide the best body for our best life.

Whatever dreams, goals, and visions we have for the New Year and new lease on life it is fairly safe to agree our fitness and health will have a major impact on living either a dreary life or dream life

Our exercise rituals, routines, and rules will determine the quality of life we enjoy.  Whatever dreams, goals, and visions we have for the New Year and new lease on life it is fairly safe to agree our fitness and health will have a major impact on living either a dreary life or dream life.  It is January as this post is being written and many people are trying new energizing exercises or at least thinking about doing them.

January has become one of the main times of the year for exercise equipment, gym membership, and yoga class sales and sign-ups.  Now is the perfect time to review our life lessons from last year and set the intention to re-energize, rejuvenate, repair, reprogram, restore, and revitalize our body with energizing exercise.  When we focus some personal TLC on the most important person in our life magic and miracles can happen in all areas of our wheel or life.

Beautiful Bodies Need Energizing Exercise

Our brain can become very distracted by our daily routines of commuting, maintaining a home, preparing meals, raising a family, watching TV, and working which can lead to our body becoming very dilapidated.   After peaking in their twenties most people do not realize that their bones and muscles are slowly wasting away as they slowly gain weight while accumulating excess fat.   Each decade after our twenties it is common for most people to continue a decline in bone density, muscle mass, and physical fitness as they eat unhealthy foods and reduce their exercise and fitness routines which creates a double whammy for weight gain and being unhealthy.

Man Exercising

One of the main beliefs and reasons people say they are not able to exercise is that they do not have the energy or time.

While people may be busier with everyday life these activities may not burn off the surplus calories consumed and maintain their body as they were able to do during the teens and twenties. One of the main beliefs and reasons people say they are not able to exercise is that they do not have the energy or time.   Of course, we all have the same 24 hours in a day.  It is the difference in how we allocate our time that will determine our commitment to exercise and fitness and our level of conditioning.

For those that have compelling values, vision and rules for energizing exercise they find time.  For those that have decided on higher demands and priorities like avoiding exercise, chatting on the phone, consuming alcohol, eating fake, fast, and junk foods, drinking sodas, gossiping, long commutes sitting, overeating, reading fiction and romance, sitting for hours, watching TV and underutilizing their peak potential they find rationalizations.

One of the best things we can do to stay energized and fit is to find great role models and resources to come up with strategies, suggestions, and systems to be active and healthy;  As mentioned in the previous blog post it is also vital to have written goals, master action plans, and outcomes for exercise and fitness otherwise atrophy and lethargy can set in and take over our life starting a downhill spiral.  When our body and brain are aligned towards maintaining our health and vitality we are more likely to become addicted to the healthy high that results from the endorphins, glowing skin, and healthy high we experience.

This helps create a positive feedback loop that reinforces our beliefs, behaviors, and biology to maintain our energizing exercise and healthy lifestyle as priorities in life.  The key is to discover what is most important to accomplish during the day and then design our life so we can most easily accomplish those things first.  If at the end of the day there is extra time left over we can indulge in a little extra relaxation and rest.

It is essential to develop a regular routine of energizing exercise that includes a combination of at least one hour of high-intensity interval training and several hours of intermediate and low-intensity exercise routines.  Weight-bearing exercise is essential for developing resilient and strong bones, joints, and muscles. Other exercise like biking, Pilates, running, swimming, yoga, and walking are key to maintaining our aerobic conditioning, agility, balance, flexibility, and stamina.

Our body needs to experience a wide variety of energizing exercises each week in order to maintain peak performance.  It needs a combination of variety to keep it interesting and certainty of routines that are easy to do anyplace and anytime to maintain consistent results.  We must combine these exercises and fitness routines while also maintaining our body by being alkalized, calm, energized, fit, healthy, nourished, and rested each day.

Our mind performs better when we keep our body active, energized, and fit.  It is difficult to keep our brains on task when we do not maintain our complex emotional, mental, and physical well-being.

Even our spirit benefits from the energy and time invested in exercising our body.  It is much easier to keep our spirit inspired and uplifted when we spend time outdoors being active and fit.  Staying on our path of passion and purpose is easier when we nurture our physical and spiritual health together.

Many people find their relationships improving after they develop a habit of energizing exercise.  It is easy for our relationships to suffer if we are sad, sick, stressed and tired from a lack of quality activities and exercise.  A happy and healthy body goes a long way toward to supporting happy and healthy relationships.

Exercise can play a vital role in our personal development and self-growth.  We are more likely to be connected and supported by others of the same mindset as those committed to exercise and fitness.    Peak performance in life requires a lot of energy, drive, and stamina to go the distance.

Being fit and vibrant helps us maintain our passion, profession and purpose in life.  To be successful in our business, career, profession, retirement or school we must maintain our body and brain.  Life seems to be easier and more fun when we have an abundance of energy and vitality.

Long term financial success depends on peak performance and staying fit and healthy.

Our finances can suffer or support us depending on our long-term fitness and health.  A truly fit person will also be healthy.  Even though many people appear to be muscle-bound, ripped, and strong they may not actually be healthy and resilient.  While fitness is a key component of health there are many other factors that must be addressed also.  Long-term financial success depends on peak performance and staying fit and healthy.  Lack of exercise and fitness which can often lead to disease and sickness are some of the major reasons people spend a lot of money on sick care and can even end up bankrupt.

Abundance in our life is often the result of having excess energy and enthusiasm which is fueled by energizing exercise and fabulous fitness.  Having more than enough energy and time for ourselves allows us to create a surplus to share with others.  Exercise can be free if you choose wisely and can actually help create more abundance in your life.  Be sure to include energizing exercises in your vision and mastery action plans to support your values and vision.
