One of the best ways to improve your awareness, intuition, lifestyle and mindfulness is to understand the relationship between the various colors of the rainbow and the influence they have on all areas of our health and life. Most people enjoy looking at rainbows. Do you? Can you list the colors of the rainbow in order from top to bottom? Do you realize that colors are energy, health, information, intelligence, personality and vibration all rolled into one. The colors of the rainbow are in this order, from top to bottom: red, orange, yellow, green, blue, indigo, and violet.

Another powerful correlation to the colors of the rainbow comes from the wisdom of life science known as #Ayurveda. This ancient knowledge and profound wisdom teaches us about chakras and their powerful correlation to each associated color. The colors of the chankras starting at the head are in this order: violet, indigo, blue, green, yellow, orange, an red.

  • Red has been found to increase physical energy, passion, stability, stamina and vitality.
  • Orange has been found to stimulate creativity, emotional expression, optimism, pleasure and productivity.
  • Yellow has been fund to increase creativity, fun, humor, intelligence, logic and personal power.
  • Green has been found to support acceptance, balance, communications, harmony, love, nature and social settings.
  • Blue has been found to increase calmness, devotion, emotional depth, honesty, inner peace, kindness, love, peace and truth.
  • Indigo is a darker and deeper blue so the characteristics are the same.
  • Violet has been found to stimulate artistic qualities, devotion, imagination, intuition, spirituality and universal flow.
