The 2016 Great NEWS posts are dedicated to Holistic Habits to enhance our happiness and health. Today’s post looks at the power of water and words to work wonders or wreck havoc in our lives.   Recently I wrote about the benefits of water and weeds working wonders as teas. That led me to remember reading about the power of water to hold the message of words that are prayed, printed or spoken over the water. The goal of this post is to invite people to first protect our waters from contamination and second to pray, print and promote only productive, positive and pure messages with our words. Since we are 70+% water and we become our thoughts and words these actions will have a profound impact on the quality of our life.

This post is written to remind people that water is the secret solution that creates and supports life. Without water life as we know it will no longer exist. Even the damaging and dramatic changes occurring to water are changing the quality of our environment and lives.

Power of Water and Words

Lake and Forest

Since water is the elixir of life and words cast the spells that become our life we might want to combine the two into a powerful force for good and force for God.

People will be wise to remember that words can be wicked weapons or wonderful wisdom based on our energy, information and intention. Emotional wounds from words often last much longer that physical injuries that heal up. When we realize that every communication and interaction with a person is a cry for help or expression of love we learn most people are asking for help and not enough people are expressing appreciation and love.

When we combine the power of water and words together we create one of the most powerful forces on the planet and in the universe. Since water is the elixir of life and words cast the spells that become our life we might want to combine the two into a powerful force for good and force for God.

The Hidden Messages in Water by Masaru Emoto is a powerful and profound book about our human consciousness, intention and interaction with water. Unfortunately it seems not enough people have read and resonated with the book to reach the tipping point for the forces of good to prevail. Too many harmful things are happening to humans and water because when we harm or pollute either one it creates a chain reaction that can continue to do harm both.

We still have too many people polluting and wasting water while also putting harmful ingredients and toxins in water. They are doing this with harmful consequences and without transparent labeling. When we consume beverages or foods that have harmful ingredients or contaminated water that harmful vibration still exists in the beverage, food and water. Thus any contamination of water on the planet from chemicals, drugs, industrial waste, pollution, radioactive runoff or waste water effects the entire water system of the planet to some degree.

Even air pollution contaminates the rain and snow before it falls to earth. We are now at a point in our history where most water sources around the world are seriously depleted or polluted or both. The World Health Organization (WHO) says access to clean water is one of the greatest crisis on the planet. They estimate 748 million people lack access to safe drinking water and 1.8 billion people use a source of drinking water that has fecal contamination. Due to unknown contamination,  pollution and water systems most likely these numbers are way under estimated and under reported.

Puddle and Child

What we do today and everyday determines our daily quality of life today and in the future.

What we do today and everyday determines our daily quality of life today and in the future. Therefore we must protect all of our water sources above and below ground. We must each also do, say and write words to prevent contamination and protect all of our water sources in all parts of the world. This is not an isolated problem associated with acid rain, agriculture pollution, desertification, droughts, fossil fuel emissions, oil spills, ozone depletion, pollution, radioactive waste, toxic waste, unsustainable water footprint, waste water contamination and even worse but a global problem of gigantic proportions affecting everyone everywhere in the world.

Each of us can chose to be part of the problems or part of the solutions. Our current water crisis is demanding we each be part of the solution.

While another Earth Day and World Water Day have come and gone now might be a great time to assess your carbon and water footprint. Today might be a great day to determine if your use of water and words are helping or hurting people and the planet.

Things to Think About:

  • Hand Holding Glass

Water in a plastic bottle is not good for us or the environment.

Water in a plastic bottle is not good for us or the environment. The plastic bottle leaches chemicals into the water and most plastic bottles become landfill or trash. Very little plastic is properly recycled. Massive amounts of energy are wasted to produce, process, recycle and transport plastic.

  • Most bottle water comes from the same sources as our drinking water. Putting it in plastic bottles makes it more harmful for you and the planet while robbing you of your financial and physical health.
  • Too much water is being contaminated, polluted and wasted because of people thinking that water and water ways are convenient dumping sites.
  • Waste water released in one city or town goes down stream to the next city or town and ends up in the drinking water.
  • Contaminating ground water when drilling and fracking for gas and oil is a crime against humanity.
  • Spray irrigation is a wasteful practice especially for growing GMO crops.
  • Use a water filter or be a water filter. The choice is yours.
  • Waste water normally contains residues of contaminating chemicals, drugs and pollution. Dr Emoto believes even the memory of harmful contaminants remain in the water and can affect us. When you decide whether you believe this or not just think about drinking water from your toilet that has gone through a treatment plant and notice how your body feels. This is what many people are drinking without realizing it.
  • Next to air with oxygen our water is our most cherished resource. Maybe if we all meditated on the quality of air and water we consume and share we would be more conscious and make better choices. This could lead to us being better stewards of the planet. Maybe we could each set an intention to bless our water and our words each and every day. Namaste.

Healthy Habits
