Puerto Rico BeachWelcome to our Puerto Rico Pura Vida bulletin 3 update. My fascination and focus for 2020 are to find a second home and property in Puerto Rico (PR) to develop an eco-friendly community and wellness center. We are eager to connect with like-minded people who share our values, virtues, and visions for a healthy lifestyle and investment haven. Who do you know?

My last due diligence trip to Puerto Rico was in October 2019 and thanks to Nico Guzman from Manaubo, Puerto Rico it was very informative and productive. My project in Belize and the Coronavirus COVID 19 pandemic has prevented me from taking a follow-up trip. I am selling (or will trade) my Belize and Costa Rica properties to buy land in Puerto Rico. My next trip will allow me to do more first-hand research and determine how PR makes the most sense for investing and living there.

In spite of memories of Hurricane Maria that hit PR hard in September of 2017 and a recent string of earthquakes and aftershocks in early 2020, Puerto Rico appears very appealing as an investment and second home. While some people are sharing their concerns and worries about buying land, investing in a house, and living there part-time, many of my contacts and friends also think Puerto Rico is a great place with great potential. Only time will tell if my thinking is clever or crazy. Below are some of the current reasons I think that Puerto Rico is a paradise rather than a problem, especially in light of recent conditions in the US and world.

“To maintain our immune system it is vital to eat nutrient-dense whole foods, exercise, and spend time outdoors in nature and sunshine.” — Michael Morningstar
Flowers in Puerto RicoDuring this crazy coronavirus pandemic, it has become obvious how important it is to be in a great location and have easy access to clean water and fresh foods. Puerto Rico scores very high in these areas and many others. The island has abundant clean lakes and rainfall to provide clean water year-round. The current agriculture picture and future potential in PR are fantastic. With abundant rainfall and rich soil, it is easy to see why it is a garden and food forest paradise. Puerto Rico has an abundance of fresh fruits, greens, and vegetables year-round and therefore probably a better place to be during the Coronavirus food issues.
Here are some of the top reasons I love Puerto Rico and believe it is a great place to live. How many of these items are on your bucket list and checklist for a healthy lifestyle and piece of paradise?

Downtown San JuanThese are some of the many reasons to consider Puerto Rico for investment and living. PR offers affordable living and homes, beautiful beaches, Caribbean Sea, US territory, important infrastructure, laid back lifestyle, same services and stores, healthcare, Medicare, tropical paradise, and VA hospital. After looking at many Caribbean island choices PR seems to meet all the criteria most people are looking for to afford a tropical paradise investment and lifestyle.

We are looking for a small condo or home near the beach in an eco-friendly community located in a tropical paradise. Additionally, we seek an ideal property of 100+ acres with clear title, electricity, water, and one quality house for our retreat and wellness center. We feel Puerto Rico is an ideal location near the mainland US and offers many fantastic features similar to Hawaii but more accessible and affordable.
