Holistic Oral Health Principles

  • Turmeric

    Turmeric provides holistic oral health benefits.

    Bacteria in our mouth can harm our health and heart. Some bacteria in the mouth have been linked to higher rates of heart disease.

  • Brush your gums and teeth after eating. Avoid toothpaste with chemicals and fluoride. Fluoride is a health hazard and toxic.
  • Use baking soda several times a day to clean your gums and teeth
  • Use Epsom salt or sea salt and water to gargle and rinse
  • Use coconut oil for oil pulling after you brush and rinse in the evening or morning.
  • Make a natural tooth soap with Dr. Bronners pure castille soap and peppermint essential oil.
  • Certain herbs and spices like turmeric have also been found to provide some holistic oral health benefits.
  • Remember … amalgam filings contain mercury and should be avoided and even removed. Do your research first.
  • Remember that heavy metals in crowns can be a serious health hazard. Root canals are another health hazard.
