Woman ExerciseHave you heard that inflammation may be the root cause of all chronic disease and health issues? If this is true then what can we do to avoid this health hazard and stay healthy? There are many theories on what is the main cause of inflammation and chronic disease. Some experts believe genetics plays a key role. Some say it is too much processed and refined junk foods. Some say our gut flora (microbiome) is disrupted and weak. Many say it is from consuming too many refined carbs and sugars. Others experts say it is the lack of exercise. Some say chemicals and toxins are the cause while others say it is our stressful lifestyle. Many experts say it is sleep deprivation that is wrecking havoc on us. What if it was a combination of all these factors combined that results in inflammation? So what we do to stay fit, healthy and strong?

Being healthy is a top priority for most of us therefore we must continually be rethinking and reviewing all aspects of our lifestyle, metabolism and nutrition. After many approaches and considerable trial and error my current health mastery success strategy is a lifestyle to optimize fitness, lifestyle and nutrition for overall emotional, mental and physical wellness.

Stop Inflammation and Start Improving

All indications seem to be pointing to inflammation caused by various factors as the primary cause of chronic disease and modern health challenges. We know we should eat healthy but it is difficult to avoid all the manipulations, promotions and temptations cooked up by the food industry. A mostly plant based whole foods diet combined with intermittent fasting is working great for me and many other people. My goal is to help guide you to the same common sense conclusion to dump the old, outdated and obviously wrong low fat and high carb diet with a program that was backed by human history and real research.

Basket of VeggiesUnfortunately many of the foods today contain higher levels of agriculture chemicals and artificial ingredients that are serious health hazards that cause inflammation. Being healthy can be a challenge in today’s world of highly processed and refined foods that contain many artificial additives and ingredients that contribute to inflammation. Fortunately there are many great resources and role models with helpful information to design a nutrition program centered around a diverse and healthy plant based diet.

While I have studied inflammation  issues for many years it seems best to go to the experts for the cutting edge information and research on how to deal with and prevent inflammation. There are many great doctors and researchers regarding diabetes, obesity, syndrome X and toxicity that goes hand in hand with inflammation. Many of them feel the Ketogenic diet is the solution so here are many excellent sources for in depth references and research to avoid and overcome inflammation issues to stay happy and healthy.

Better Education About Inflammation

The majority of processed and refined food products in developed countries are unhealthy for many reasons. Also many of the Allopathic medicine policies and procedures are making our body and brain even more sad, sick and stressed. On top of these we are exposed to many chemicals and toxins. Plus when you factor in unhealthy lifestyles you have the perfect storm for inflammation to overwhelm our body and result in chronic disease.

There seems to be a lot of evidence to follow an approach referred to as organic Ketogenic primary plant based diet plus intermittent fasting for optimal longevity and wellness. Plant based diet means wide variety of fresh local nutrient dense organic whole foods that include all the colors of the rainbow. Be sure to include a diverse selection of berries, fruits, greens, herbs, legumes, melons, mushrooms, nuts, roots, sea weeds, seeds, sprouts, tubers and vegetables. The are many great resources and role models to explain the causes of inflammation and how to prevent and even reverse it. These are some of the best ones I learn from:
