Beware these Beverages and Foods
Alcohol is hard for the body and liver to break down and process. The more alcohol that is contained in a beverage the more it affects the body and cells. Highly refined liquor products like bourbon, everclear, gin, scotch, tequila, vodka and whiskey contain the highest level of alcohol at 30% to 90% Alcohol By Volume (ABV). Wines often contain between 10% and 17% alcohol by volume. Most beer is in the 4% to 6% ABV.
White potatoes whether they are baked, boiled, french fried, hash brown, instant, mashed or scalloped are an overdose of carbohydrate that quickly turns to sugar in your blood. The potato skin which is seldom eaten usually has the most nutrients. French fries are doubly unhealthy due to the frying in oil that is typically adulterated and hydrogenated which is harmful to our health.
Beet sugar – significant sugar is from GMO sugar beets. Avoid this.
High Fructose Corn Syrup (HFCS) usually comes from using GMO corm. Avoid this
Fruit juices are normally concentrated and pasteurized which destroys nutrients and comes from highly refined fruits which removes the sugary juice while leaving the beneficial pulp behind. Often the fruits are highly treated with synthetic chemicals, fertilizers, herbicides and insecticides.
Colas, sodas and all soft drinks are really hard drinks when you understand the method behind the madness about how they are designed and marketed to get kids hooked on carbonation, flavorings and sugar. They are basically cooked water that contains chemical cocktails of sugar or artificial sweeteners and other artificial additives and ingredients like caffeine, carbonation, coloring and flavorings. Diet sodas play upon the fears of consumers to avoid calories, sugar and weight gain by consuming the harmful artificially sweetened beverage.
Cheese and milk are often significantly contaminated with antibiotics, bacteria, bovine growth hormones and chemical additives.
White sugar is highly addictive and comes from highly refined and bleached GMO sugar beets or sugar cane that is frequently treated with harmful chemicals.
White wheat flour is a highly refined and treated product that is highly addictive and harmful to health. It usually contains a wide range of additives and ingredients that provide varying degrees of harm and inflammation. Whether it is made into white bagels, biscuits, bread, brownies, cakes, cereals, cookies, crackers, croissants, croutons, crumpets, donuts, pancakes, pastries, pizza, rolls, tortillas or wraps it is advised for you to be very careful and cautious with the quantity of wheat flour products you consume.
Cereal is cleverly designed to seem like a healthy food when in reality it is usually one of the worst products adults or children consume. Most cereals are made with highly refined and processed grains that are loaded with artificial additives, molds, mycotoxins and sugars. They are often made by creating batter sluries that are then extruded at high temperatures. The grains are so degraded and denatured by the process the manufacturer must add back in synthetic ingredients and vitamins to be able to list something that sounds beneficial on the label.
Corn products like corn chips, corn bread, corn meal and corn tortillas are often made with GMO corn and are best avoided.
Most soy products are made with GMO soy. This means we should be extremely careful when considering any soy, edamame, soy bars, soy beans, soy burgers, soy enhanced cereal, soy flour, soy milk, soy nuts, soy protein powder, soy veggie nuggets, textured soy protein, tofu and many other products.
White rice has a high glycemic index rating and thus quickly increase the level of sugar in the blood. White rice, rice cakes, rice cereal, and rice milk are the result of stripping the rice bran from the rice and serving the basic load of carbohydrates that quickly increase our blood sugar levels.
Jams, jellies, maple syrup and pancake syrup are usually loaded with sugars and or high fructose corn syrup (HFCS).
Canned fruit contain cooked fruits that are usually spiked with additional additives and sugars.
Farm raised fish and shellfish often contain higher levels of antibiotics, chemicals, heavy metals and unhealthy compounds. Farm raised salmon is fed a chemical dye to change the flesh to the common salmon color. There are even GMO farm raised fish to be cautious about avoiding. Imported farm raised fish are often raised in water contaminated with a wide range of antibiotics, chemicals, dyes, heavy metals, pollution and radioactive material. Unfortunately many of the wild fish are being exposed to more of these compounds as well.
Highly processed and refined fake, fast and junk foods are chemical concoctions that are mostly devoid of natural nutrients and nutritional value.
Processed meats and Commercial Agriculture Feedlot Operations (CAFO) sourced meats should be avoided. Beef, chicken, pork and turkey that is highly processed or comes from CAFO are usually fed GMO feeds and come from extremely unhealthy environments. It is not worth the facing the consequences of animal cruelty and health risk you subject yourself to.
