Boost Immune System – Herbal Coffees, Teas & Tonics
Here are some of the various herbal coffees, teas, and tonics I drink. Most of them are very low cost when bought in bulk and some ingredients are even free when grown or wildcrafted.

Bark teas have a long history of medicinal uses. Consider researching birch, cinnamon, magnolia, mahogany, maple, oak, and pine bark teas.
Bitters made into teas are well known in many countries for effectively dealing with bacteria, parasites, and viruses. Common bitters include:

- mango bark
- oak bark
- olive leaf
- pine bark & leaf

Four Thieves tea is brewed with lavender, rosemary, sage, thyme, and black peppercorns or soaked in a jar of apple cider vinegar. There is an interesting story about the history of Thieves herbal blends so take your choice as to which essential oils or herbs you choose.
Ginger and ginseng tea is a superb adaptogen and antioxidant combination popular in many Asian countries.
Golden Chai can be made with cardamom, cinnamon, clove, fennel, ginger, peppercorns, star anise, and turmeric. Adding almond or coconut milk gives it a creamy rich taste.
Green tea is great because it has antioxidants, nutrients, and polyphenols with big benefits for our bodies. One compound is Epigallocatechin Gallate (EGCG), a catechin with powerful properties. Some research has shown that compounds in green tea may kill bacteria and inhibit viruses like a cold or flu virus, thus possibly lowering our risk of infections.
